In January of this year, I had weighed the most I have in my entire life. I had just gotten off of a plane to Florida where I was going to compete for UCA Nationals for College Cheerleading. While waiting for a shuttle to Disney World, I decided to get on the scale that weighed the luggage. I made sure that no one was around to see the result but as I stepped on the scale and the number popped up, I heard someone behind me gasp “You’re 206 pounds?!” I was mortified. Being just above 5’1 I knew that this was unhealthy. Preceding the trip I looked at pictures of myself and was shocked I had ever let myself that big. My coworker, Debbie had successfully lost weight and referred me to Chris. In this meeting we talked about nutrition and an exercise regimen. He
calculated a calorie count, based on my height and weight. He educated me on the value of nutrition and everything I needed to know to eat healthy and change my life style. I was able to adapt to his nutrition guide and follow the exercise regimen and lose 45 pounds in less than 5 months. I look and feel like a totally different person. Chris has helped me not only understand proper nutrition, but also helped me overcome fears of plateaus and muscle gaining. I’ve worked out or tried to keep active for most of my life, but couldn’t shake off those hard 20 or so pounds. Christopher guided me with a nutrition and training program last year that helped me shed
about 15 pounds and drop from 28% body fat, down to around 20-21%. I’ve maintain that for over a year, but decided that I need to take my training to a higher level. I started back with Christopher and he put me on a new nutrition program and a more intense training schedule. In just a few weeks, I’m now down another 5 pounds and my body fat is coming in at 18%. I’m also much leaner and getting stronger.
I enjoy working with Christopher because he is able to adjust the workouts to each individual’s level. It’s not all “one size fits all” with him. He will access each client’s abilities and design training program according to their strength, and a nutrition plan according to their goals. There is so much I can say in my experience working with Christopher. He really helped me and got me through my recovery from a motor vehicle accident I got into. He always had a positive attitude and would influence me greatly by giving me confidence to push forward and not give up. Days before turning 56, I realized how overweight and out of shape I was when I went shopping for my birthday and had to buy the next
argest size! After putting off exercising for eight years, the light finally went on and I joined Burbank Athletic Club with encouragement from my daughter. I had been in total denial of how horrible I looked and felt! Having been athletic my entire life, I knew I could conquer this beast if I had the right trainer/program! This didn’t happen overnight, so I knew it would be a long process. I was very fortunate to meet Christopher when we went to the gym for the first time. He was available to talk to me and I realized at that point, just after a few minutes of talking with him that I was going to be well on my way to a healthier, happier life. I had an initial evaluation with him so he could assess where I was physically and that was
followed by a meeting about nutrition/diet plan. Chris is very passionate about what he does and is extremely knowledgeable about fitness and nutrition. He wants to see you succeed! Knowing that this was not going to be easy, my only request to him was that he keeps me laughing and
if I whined, to push me harder. He definitely has done all of these things and along with having a great trainer, I now have a very good friend for life I have lost 40 pounds, three sizes and many inches since starting my training with Chris. I feel fantastic and have turned my life around! I could not have done this if it were not for his motivation, encouragement and constant support!
